DOM FAMULARO & LIBERTY DEVITTO TO PERFORM AT THE MONTREAL DRUM FEST

Mapex is proud to present two international drumming legends for this year's Montreal Drum Fest: Dom Famularo and Liberty DeVitto have confirmed their attendance and will be performing on stage side-by-side! Director and founder of the annual event, Ralph Angelilo, remarked," They will be one of the highlights of the festival!" Liberty, best-known for his work with Billy Joel, now tours with his new group, NYC HitSquad, while conducting clinics across the globe. Dom Famularo is a world-renowned international clinician and solo drummer, and has been playing Mapex drums for over a year. Both artists play Saturn Series kit.

"When I met Dom and Liberty at the 2006 Winter NAMM show, I remember Dom saying, ' Hey Sami, you know what would be fun? Liberty and performing together at the Montreal Drum Fest!'" Recalls Sami Kizilbash, Drums and Percussion Product Manager for SF Marketing. "I didn't really have to think about it for very long," he continues. Liberty will be conduction a master class on Friday November 10th, and Dom together with Liberty will be performing together on stage the following day. Liberty remarked, "Not only do Dom and I work well together, we are also the best of friends which makes for a very satisfying experience for everyone involved! I can't wait till November!"
