HEINEKEN JAMMIN' FESTIVAL

The Heineken Jammin' Festival is one of the biggest and most important European pop-rock events and is renowned for its well organized program featuring national and international celebrities such as Oasis, REM, Billy Idol, Green Day, Garbage, I Am Kloot and Vasco Rossi. The festival started on June 10th and lasted for 3 days, attracting more than 250,000 people. It was held again at the Autodrome Enzo and Dino Ferrari, the famous motor racing F1 circuit in Imola.

The up and coming Italian band, Le Vibrazioni, attended the festival as a special guest and also participated in the emerging band contest. Le Vibrazioni drummer’s Mackie Jayson plays Mapex. Mapex had a strong presence behind the scenes as well. Mapex’s distributor in Italy was the designated provider of backstage instruments for all the bands and received recognition for the professional assistance they provided for the festival.
