ANDY VILLANOVA MAPEX-ZILDIJIAN CLINICS!

Two Mapex- Zildjian clinics with Mapex Artist Andrés Vilanova, drummer of the band Carajo, were held on June 27th and 28th. The clinics took place in a beautiful and intimate theatre seating 120 people in the city of San Isidro, Buenos Aires. On the first day 121 people attended, followed by 110 the second day.

The introductions to the clinics were made by fellow Mapex Artist Marcelo Mira, whose presence caused a huge ovation among the audience. At each clinic Andrés was able to talk about the execution of techniques, told the audience life stories and answered questions. There were numerous questions from the audience about the recording of Carajo’s songs. Andrés also had the opportunity to explain his Mapex drumset and his set of Zildjian cymbals in depth.

The clinics were sponsored by Mapex and Zildjian, with the support of the Department of Culture of the of San Isidro Government  and the local Mapex dealer, “FA” Musical Instruments.
