EMERGENZA NEWS FROM EUROPE
THE FINALS… NOW IT'S THE BIG TIME!
The first national finals
The first 3 EMERGENZA National finals have taken
place between the end of may and mid-June. Luxemburg, Denmark
and Sweden have already chosen their winners! They are the first
bands scheduled to take part in the International Final next
August! Fast Friday from Luxemburg is a four-pieces whose music
is a mix of Metal riffs, clean, atmospheric and chaotic moments,
brutal shouts and emotional melodies. Rock Hard Power Spray from
Aarhus (Denmark) describe their music as ‘delinquent, delicious,
decadent, Excess All Areas rock’n’fuckin’roll
without second thoughts or easy bought solutions; its vigorously,
experimental and provocative’. Ska’n’Ska from
Stockholm is an explosive 6-pieces ska-reggae band. Can’t
wait to see them on the Taubertal Stage!
What’s up in the rest of Europe?
FRANCE
Here you go, the winners! Swim in Styx from Bordeaux, The Green
Olive from Lyon and Soma from Marseille are the bands that from
the province will gather in Paris for two fantastic nights of
music: the finals will be held on the 25th and the 26th at the
faboulouos Elysee Montmartre.

GERMANY
Three regional finals will select the three bands who will play
the Emergenza International ‘at home’. Meruyah
from Frankfurt made to the South German Final in Karlsruhe,
Sprout from Hamburg made to the Final in Berlin. Boy Android
and Spunk from Munich made to the South German Final in Karlsruhe.

Ruhrgebiet: 17-18-19-24-25- 26. June
Hannover: 1- 2 July
Stuttgart: 8 July
Köln: 8-9-10-15-16-17. July
SPAIN
Congratulations to Demiurgo from Granada and Zhero from Bilbao,
who made to the National Final in Madrid!!! And to Homer from
Valencia, who will play in the second national final, in Barcelona.

ITALY
And Italian music fans are looking forward to finding out who
will be the best upcoming band in the country! In Italy a big
event, a NATIONAL FINAL, will be taking place on July 17th:

EMILBULLS, the coolest German hard rock band, wants
to have an Emergenza band open up for them on tour! The best
band among the ones who send their demos to the Emergenza Germany
Head Office will be chosen to open up for EmilBulls.
Emergenza winners in 1997, EmilBulls have just

Records-Track1). The first reactions of the German media are
simply enthusiastic: Metal Hammer (6/7 Points), Rockhard (8,5/10),
