EMERGENZA NEWS FROM AMERICA
THE FINALS… NOW IT'S THE BIG TIME!
The first 12 EMERGENZA American finals took place
between the end of may and mid-June. All twelve shows left some
great impressions and made for incredible memories…
USA:
BUFFALO, May 28th: Woke Up in Vegas was the winning band and
made to the Regional final in Detroit.
MILWAUKEE, May 28th: Marashino was the winning band and made
to the Regional final in Detroit.
PITTSBURGH, May 28th: Split Screen was the winning band and made
to the Regional final in Philadelphia.
NASHVILLE, May 28th: Ide was the winning band and made to the
Regional final in Memphis.
ORLANDO, June 4th: Ed Self Band was the winning band and made
to the Regional final in Tampa.
WASHINGTON, June 5th: Restoring Poetry in Music was the winning
band and made to the Regional final in Philadelphia.
ST LOUIS, June 4th: Shattermask was the winning band and made
to the Regional final in Cincinnati.
CLEVELAND, June 11th: Emmet was the winning band and made to
the Regional final in Cincinnati.
DETROIT, June 4th: Natives of the New Dawn was the winning band
and made to the National final in Boston.
MEMPHIS, June 11th: Ide was the winning band and made to the
Nationa final in Atlanta.
CINCINNATI, June 18th: Autumn’s Haty Eyes was the winning
band and made to the National final in Chicago.
INDIANAPOLIS, June 18th: The Dead See was the winning band and
made to the National final in Chicago.
PHILADELPHIA June 18th: Restoring Poetry in Music was the winning
band and made to the National final in Boston.
Canada:
OTTAWA, June 9th: Jacquie in the kitchen was the winning band
and made to the Regional final in Toronto.
QUEBEC CITY, June 15th: Lachambre was the winning band and made
to the National final in Montreal.
TORONTO, June 18th: Forgery was the winning band and made to
the National final in Montreal.
After the upcoming regional finals in Philadelphia,
Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Tampa, The Metro in Chicago, The Avalon
in Boston, the Earthlink Live in Atlanta and Le Medley in Montreal
will play host to the National Finals’ momentous events
on June 25th!

The most famous and exclusive venue in the East
Coast, the 9:30 in Washington DC, was SOLD OUT on June 5th… the
Emergenza Final’s night! The audience totaled almost 1900!
AN EXCLUSIVE VILLAGE FOR THE INTERNATIONAL
FINAL
Emergenza Village is a space to gather, work, have
fun, prepare the shows and keep the public informed. You may
find it on August 12, 13 and 14 in the Taubertal Valley, a few
steps away from the stage of the Emergenza 2005 Worldwide International
Final.
To access the Village’s services a special
pass will be provided to artists and musicians of the bands,
managers, distributors and executives of the music industries,
agencies and booking companies, representatives of European and
American media, members of the Festival’s International
Jury, Festival’s managing direction and staff, coming from
18 countries around the world.
The Village will offer a bar, a warm up stage,
a dj booth, a merchandise shop, a media area and much more! |
