The Saturn Sub-Sonic in Regal Blue Sparkle

Mapex proudly presents the Saturn Sub-Sonic special edition, named for Saturn’s incredibly thin 6-ply, 5.1mm shell. The four outer plies are North American maple, while the two interior plies are walnut. The result is remarkable bottom end, full tonal range and a sound that cuts through amazingly.

The Saturn Sub-Sonic will dazzle your eyes as well as your ears. A Vintage-style sparkle finish is available in two unique options: Root Beer Sparkle (ES) and Regal Blue Sparkle (ZS). These new hand-rubbed finishes are the result of distinctive lacquering techniques that create an inviting retro look and stunning finish surface.

When Mapex invited Gregg Bissonette for the product photo shoot in SHANGHAI, he exclaimed, “This kit is a drummer’s dream come true! I absolutely love this Saturn special edition drum set.! The Saturn Sub-Sonic special edition comes complete with newly upgraded Mapex 750 Series double braced hardware and a REMO Weatherking Ambassador drumhead.
