MAPEX USA OPENS CORONA, CA DISTRIBUTION CENTER

The 45,000 sq. ft. facility in Corona, California will greatly benefit Mapex Dealers in the Western United States.

Mapex USA announced the opening of their new warehouse and distribution center in Corona, California for their growing line of drums and percussion products. The facility will be used to ship Mapex family of products to music retailers throughout the Western States, cutting down significantly on delivery time and shipping costs. The facility is set to open in December 2004.

“The Mapex distribution center is going to be an enormous benefit to our dealers in the Western half of the country,” stated Mapex USA Vice-President and General Manager Joe Vasko. “Mapex continually looks to provide dealers with increased profit opportunities. We elected to invest in the Southern California warehouse so we could better service all of our dealers with reduced freight and faster shipping times.”

The 45,000 square foot facility will house all Mapex brands and will receive goods from nearby shipping ports in Long Beach. The Corona facilty, combined with the current Nashville, TN location will significantly decrease backorder time and allow products to reach Mapex dealers in a more timely manner.
