MAPEX AT THE SUPERBOWL

Rick Brothers will perform with Gretchen Wilson on the Super Bowl pregame show

Make sure you settle in early to watch the pre-game coverage of the Super Bowl, there’ll be a Mapex logo on stage right behind performer Gretchen Wilson. That’s right, Mapex’s favorite son, Rick Brothers will be performing with Gretchen and her band on the Fox Super Bowl Pregame Show starting at 2 PM eastern.

Wilson and her band will be performing with legendary country artist Charlie Daniels. Also appearing on the show will be Black Eyed Peas, Earth, Wind and Fire and Alicia Keyes.

“We have dress rehearsals on Friday and Saturday,” said Rick. “Then we fly out after the game for a sold out show in Michigan. Then it’s on to the Grammy’s.”

Gretchen Wilson is nominated for four Grammy’s. After the Grammy performance, the band heads off to Australia to start a nationwide tour.

Rick could barely contain his excitement for the Super Bowl trip. “Pinch me!” he exclaimed, “What an honor to be a part of the largest media event of the year! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I’ll never forget.”

Rick assured us of one thing, “I have made sure to double check my clothing and I promise that there will be no ‘wardrobe malfunctions’ on this year’s broadcast.
