Good things come to those who wait. Just ask Las Vegas native Chas Stumbo. With over twenty years of playing experience, Chas sights Steve Smith (Journey, Vital Information) as the one who started it all for him.

"I remember going to see Journey back in 1983 and being floored by Steve's drum solo," says Chas. "Since that moment in time, drums have been on my mind every waking minute of the day."

In addition to Smith, Chas lists his influences as John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Stephen Perkins (Jane's Addiction, Porno For Pyros), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Joey Kramer (Aerosmith). Chas has been involved with artists such as Zoe Bonham (John Bonham’s daughter), George Lynch (Dokken), Lynch Mob (2003 Revolution Tour & Live DVD) and is currently a member of Los Angeles based band Earshot.

Having a professional attitude is the main reason Chas has kept so busy over the last few years. "There's no room for an ego in my reality. I'm very lucky to be touring and playing as much as I am and not a day goes by that I don't sit back and appreciate the hand that life has dealt me."
