Sergey "NAVA"
Navetny
Sergey was born on October
29, 1965 in Bobruisk, Belarus. He started
playing drums at 16 years old and, after
moving to St. Petersburg, participated
in numerous projects.Hhe became the most
active club drummer in the city and was
also a member of well-known groups, such
as: LOOP NESTEROVA (1992-1994), KAMIKAZE
(1992-1996) and the CRADLE (1994-1996).
In May 1996, he played with the group
NASTJA at the grandiose festival "We
shall Fill the Sky With Kindness",
at Petrovsky stadium. After a year and
a half with NASTJA and a short stint with
PREPINAKI joined SPLEEN. He also became
interested in sound processing and studio
engineering, so much that by the time
of the second SPLEEN album he took over
as a sound engineer.
In summer 2000, KAPKAN label released
his album of experimental electronic music
"Some different pictures". He
took the pseudonym NAVA then. NAVA left
SPLEEN and is currnetly engaged in solo
projects and producing.
