Gregg Bissonette

Gregg Bissonette is best known for his ability to play in a wide
variety of styles. Gregg has played with Joe Satriani, Gino Vannelli,
Tania Maria, Brian Wilson, Robin Zander, David Lee Roth, Ringo Starr,
James Taylor, Toto, Ray Charles, Don Henley, Santana and many others.
Another highlight of his career was being invited to perform on
the Buddy Rich Memorial Concert and video. Gregg also has two instructional
videos: "Private Lesson" and "Playing, Reading and
Soloing With A Band." Both videos have been made into books
with play along music and are available on DCI. Gregg also has two
solo CDs, Gregg Bissonette and Submarine, which he did with his
brother Matt.
Gregg recently played on Santana's Grammy winning album, Supernatural,
and the song "El Farol" which was named "Best Pop
Instrumental" at the 2000 Grammy Awards.
Gregg recently completed a spring 2003 tour with Ringo Starr, to
which he admits "was one of the greatest musical highlights
of his life."
Gregg joined the MAPEX family in May 1997 and is strong international
spokesperson for MAPEX, conducting dozens of clinics worldwide every
year.
